  1. Q: How much luggage can I bring?
During the reservation process, passengers will be asked for their approximate weight and amount of luggage (number of bags & total weight). For safety reasons, the amount of luggage is limited and cannot exceed pre-determined limits. For example: our aircrafts can accommodate three passengers with very little luggage or two golfers with full golfing equipment.
  2. Q: What about bad weather?
Your safety is our #1 priority and concern. If weather conditions are questionable, we will initiate contact with our passengers to prompt them to make appropriate alternative arrangements PRIOR to the scheduled flight.
  3. Q: how are the rates calculated?
Although rates are quoted in hours, customers are charged by the minute. Billable minutes begin the moment the pilot starts the engine and ends when the pilot extinguishes the engine at your destination airport. Hourly rates begin at $459 per hour of flight time and can go as low as $419 per hour of flight time for frequent travelers who wish to take advantage of discounted block package deals. Depending on the airports used, a "Ramp Fee" may be imposed. If you choose an airport which requires a Ramp Fee, our agents will inform you of this when you are given your flight quote.
  4. Q: What if i want to go to an airport thats not listed on your coverage area?
No problem, empire aviation will be happy to arrange any trip for you.
  5. Q: How many passengers are allowed?
Each aircraft can accommodate up to 3 passengers with no increase in fare. Clients must disclose the number and names of passengers upon making the reservation. Please note that the amount of baggage is restricted.
  6. Q: Is there a fee for waiting?
Yes, every hour the aircraft and pilot wait for your departure you will be charged a $50.00 dollar fee.
  7. Q: What is the benefit of purchasing "Waiting Time" instead of re-ordering another Empire Aviation Taxi to pick me up for my return flight?
A: If you are flying to a destination for a short period of time (i.e. for a business meeting), it is very beneficial to you to utilize the "Wait Time" service.  By reserving your Air Taxi at your location with the "Wait Time" service, you are preventing it from being immediately dispatched to another site and client.  Most importantly, it means that your aircraft will be waiting and ready for you the moment that you need it.   If you bypass the "Wait Time" service and attempt to re-order an Air Taxi to return you back to your original location, there may be scheduling conflicts which could require a significant wait time.  Particularly if your location is in the outskirts of the Empire Aviation service zone, your wait may be quite long.
  8. Q: What methods of payment do you accept & when am I expected to pay?
KMR Aviation accepts Visa, Mastercard, Traveler's Checks, and Personal Checks. Cash will only be accepted if the client has exact change. Pilots do not have the ability to carry change with them. Payment is do prior to your trips departure
  9. Q: What kind of credentials will my pilot have?
KMR Aviation Pilots are qualified under the highest aviation industry standards and hold many years of aviation experience. Like all commercial pilots, they are obligated to not only to pass very rigorous FAA practical and theoretical examinations but are also required to be checked periodically. All pilots are required to have a minimum of 1,200 hours of flying time before they may apply for a pilot's position.
